Hi everybody, my name is Phillip John Smith, but most of my buddies call me Phil. I'm a 27 year old gamer looking to share my view on video games and how they have been a part of my life. Like most gamers my age, Nintendo was my childhood, starting with the NES. I was only 2 years old at the time of the US release of the NES, but my older brother Kyle, who was 9, got one for Christmas. I was practically raised by that system, as I started playing as soon as I could get my hands around the controller. This hooked me on gaming, specifically Nintendo games. Skipping to the near present, my recent obsession is the Call of Duty series, which I jumped in on with CoD4. I had been a fan of FPS games since Rainbow Six: Raven Shield for the PC, but I was hesitant to convert to console gaming as PC was superior for online multiplayer gaming. I was urged by my friends to buy an X-Box 360 3 years ago and I figured I would pick up the most recent CoD game. Since then, I've bought and played CoD5 & CoD6, and I've had a ton of fun with them.
